Golf Channel Products

Hi i have been seeing Golf channel infomercials lately, i have seen the perfect club which is suppose to improve your game the hammer driver which is suppose to give you distance and the medicus driver which cures your swing, and the pattened f2 wedge which drops you strokes are any of these golf products good or is it just made for tv

thanks

Re: Golf Channel Products

It's made for TV.

The Air Hammer Driver (POW!) is a non-conforming club.

The medicus is useful if you've got a video camera. I know the single hinge can be fooled, but I don't know about the dual.

The f2 wedge seems pretty cool, but I don't know if I'd trade money for them.

Re: Golf Channel Products

Thanks, but what about the perfect club? It supposedly improves all your other clubs, and i have seen in the commercials it makes hackers hit shots like a 5 handicap?

Re: Golf Channel Products

I would personally never buy it for 3 reasons: 1) It's not club made by a major respectable golf company with good customer service (e.g. callaway, titleist, taylor-made.. and so on) 2) It's on a golf channel info commerical 3) And that guy in the commerical just makes me want to jump off a cliff

However, since I have never tried it, I suggest reading these reviews: http://www.golfreview.com/Irons/Perf...0_2940crx.aspx

Re: Golf Channel Products

The truth is: good players make good shots. Thats just about all it comes down to. Sure certain equipment is better than others, but there is no "miracle" club on the market. You can buy into all the equipment you want but until you decide to improve your game, it doesnt get much better.

Just because it isn't an OEM doesn't mean it isn't any good. The Perfect Club has been around long enough now that the company can be trusted, I believe. The club is great. I don't have one, but my playing partner does. We tease him about it all the time, but it's hard to keep teasing him when he makes amazing shots with it.

Remember, this is just a regular club with a shorter shaft, nothing more. The shorter shaft means you have a bit more control over the clubhead.

Doesn't the perfect club also have more headweight?

I like Peter Kessler. I think he has a great voice and I really enjoyed The Golf Channel more when he was hosting many of their shows.

Re: Golf Channel Products

its all rubbish, but then again so is most of the OEM stuff! It's like all that stuff, you have to try it and if you like it and it works for you then go for it.

I looked at the plus 10 thing since they are selling them in shops here now, it looks no better or worse than the others available, if you could specify your shaft on them they would sell well.

The medicus thing would just confuse me I think, I dont have the patience for that kind of thing but you might......

D.

Re: Golf Channel Products

Peter Kessler is a lady killer. He's got this super deep sexy voice and that hypnotic-come-to-bed-eye stare. POW! No just kidding. He's kinda like the Golf Channel's Deuce Bigalow Golf Gigalo.

Anyways, what about AJ's Truth About Golf? Is that a gimmick too? Does anyone have his DVD? What's the secret about golf?

Yes, what is about AJ's Truth About Golf. I am interested in finding out the truth. Is this product a gimmick or is it real?

The truth is that you need to get your face squared to the target at impact and attack the ball from the inside.

But what in my swing keeps me from getting to the truth?

If you are unable to get your face squared, try this drill:

Re: Golf Channel Products

i have recently bought the northwestern plus 10 after seeing it on the golf channel and it is awsome. everything on TV it ses about the club is true, apart from it makes the cub seem HUGE when it is actually only as big as any G2 or King Cobra. I have added loads onto my previous drivers distances and the sound it makes is worth buying the club for alone.
