Re: ? about taylormade XDs

Wow - the RCGA lists all TaylorMade R series drivers (XD's included) as non-conforming.

The USGA list is here

http://www.usga.org/playing/clubs_an...iver_list.html

click 'view photo' to see the difference between conforming and non-conforming.

EDIT: I didn't realize that the RCGA list was a copy of the USGA list, without the pictures. My bad. Please view the list through the link.

Re: ? about taylormade XDs

Not all TM R series drivers are non conforming. Taylor Made manufactures a set of conforming and non-conforming clubs, each has distinctive markings so it is easy to identify.

Re: ? about taylormade XDs

Check the list, I cant remember what ones are illegal but I'm pretty sure they made conforming and non conforming versions as far as I know the non conforming versions dont have greeves in the centre of the face (or maybe the other way round)

As for the MP-32's, forget them, if you want a set of Mizuno's get a set of MP-33's, they are the best. And best of all you can get them for a good bit less money. Better yet get a set of T-Zoid Pro II's they are just as good, the most underrated low handicap player's club Mizuno have ever made

Re: ? about taylormade XDs

As per XD's - the 580XD is non-conforming NOW if it DOESN'T have scorelines in the middle of the face (USGA). It will be non-conforming to the R&A in 2008.

Scorelines in the middle of the face? Enjoy it, and it's conforming.
