| Re: Adjustable Head Drivers Great or Just Gimmick??? Well I just bought the Snake Eyes Viper Ti4 with the adjustable weights and have to say they are pretty impressive. I havent tried the R7 but I can imagine it to be much the same. Its pretty much affording the clubs which is the problem. These weighted drivers are quite expensive. I would say that they arent so much better as to justify an extra £150 per club but if you get one reasonably priced I owuld go for it. D. |

| Re: Adjustable Head Drivers Great or Just Gimmick??? I'd rather spend the money on a trio of lessons (or more) to get rid of whatever ball flight flaw I was experiencing. While I have not hit a 'screw type' driver, I've heard enough people say that they work. |

| Re: Adjustable Head Drivers Great or Just Gimmick??? Hi Simon, I use an R7 Taylormade, I bought it last year when I was just looking for a new driver. My honest answer is that after an initial moving of the weights for fade and draw I decided that it doesn't work for me at all, I hit the same shot every time (when I'm playing well that is) ...........However moving the weights higher and lower does work for a high or low ball flight. I do really like the driver it is very consistant and very long, its 400cc which is not to big and the shafts are great...mine is regular with a stiff tip after a fitting session. If your looking to buy this club because you think you will start hitting a draw or fade (FORGET IT) Hope this helps
