Golf Balls

What golf balls does everybody use?
I haven't really been committed to one ball. I've decided I can sacrifice some distance as my accuracy around the greens increase and was thinking about getting a higher spin ball.
I've played with some ballatas before, but want something that is a lot more durable than that.

Any suggestions?

Re: Golf Balls

I play with the Nike Mojo mainly. Soft cover for great feel around the green. Low compression for easy distance. After i played one i was hooked.

Re: Golf Balls

Hi Danny,

I use Pro v1 the origional one due to it being softer around the greens.

I don't think it matters what ball anyone uses as long as you stick to the same ball, find a ball that suit you and stick with it.

Using different balls each time you play can lead to inconsistancy............

Ian.

Re: Golf Balls

just remember higher spin balls make it easier to fade and draw. Pro V1 392 are a high spin soft feel without losing distance. Optima Ts, or Sirixon soft feel, have a lower spin ratio and are a little harder but get good distance and reasonable green touch.

Re: Golf Balls

Volvik Crystal Golf Balls....Soft cover with hard center. Flys off the tee and putts with feel.

"The VOLVIK CRYSTAL BALL features a unique semi-transparent two piece construction to provide both outstanding distance and exceptional soft feel. The Volvik Crystal golf ball's true 70 compression enhanced core produces substantially better spin and feel creating extra long and straight shots"
