| What clubs to buy!! :s I am wanting to upgrade myself to a new set of irons. I am currently playing with some old slazenger XTC's that are offset, cavity back and have graphite shafts. I have been pondering some new Mizuno's that are steel shafted, cut muscle design and have no offset (Mizuno Mp-33) These as you can see are a big change in what i have used for over a year and wonder what the best clubs would be for me? |

| Re: What clubs to buy!! :s I'd say it largely depends on how you're ballstriking is, and what you're looking for. You're completely and totally switching feel here. Going from offset to no offset, cav's to undercuts, and graphite to steel. If you buy them be prepared to learn how to hit them. If your swing is sound, but you're hooking the ball, less (or no) offsets sounds good. The steel shafts will make for heavier clubs (maybe good, maybe not, depending on how the other clubs feel). And the undercuts will provide the sweetest flight, provided you hit the sweetspot. Be prepared for yardage loss on off-center hits.
