Re: Whats new in wedges? mizuno, cleveland???

i saw an infomercial on the golfchannel about new solace wedges, they look sharp and the facts behind them are very sound, they introduce a new design to wedges. they were a bit pricey, like 3 payments of 33$ for one, pricey for me but others maybe not

Cobra Wedges = Half price Vokeys....bear that in mind. I got 2 Phil Rogers wedges for about £90. New. A vokey would have rushed me £89.99.

They cant be beat for value, Vokeys and cleves are about the same quality, its a matter of brand preference after that.

Steer clear of the mizuno wedges though (never thought I would hear myself damning a mizuno club) they are too bottom heavy which makes them awkward for finesse shots. If you must Mizuno then go for the tour style wedges in the satin finish, they are less clumsy.

Have you tried the Pelz Wedges?
I have the SW(56), LW(60), XW(64) wedges. I have been using them for about 2 years now. The best thing about these wedges are the grooves don't get worn out like some others.. Very durable.
It also helps if you follow the Pelz 3x4 concepts.

I picked up a 60degree MP T-Series wedge in Raw Haze... I'd tried a Nike TW, and a Progen 60degree, and I feel that I was able to get better contact with the ball, and more control...
