Cleveland Launcher Ti460 2006 Drivers

This driver looks like a nice club. The Thin Crown Technology sounds like a value version of the COMP concept. This driver has a clean look to it as well as a monster face, plus they added the alignment aid back to the top. A good choice for those that can't afford or aren't fans of the COMP but still want to enjoy this fine line of drivers. Also a offset version for slicers. This one is a winner.

When my paycheck comes in I will send out an order for one.

The Launcher I bought has made a huge difference in my game and confidence. I used to be afraid of the tee box, now I look forward to it.
BTW, I didn't get the comp as the price difference seemed too great.

Don't buy it new. I got my Launcher slightly used on ebay. $100. What a deal!

Wink Re: Cleveland Launcher Ti460 2006 Drivers

I had been skeptical for years about the constant stream of new drivers hitting the market from every company. Always thought it was more about great marketing than design innovations. Now I know differently...

I've recently gotten back into the game after being away for 4 years, and decided to upgrade all the old sticks. I spent an hour working with the pro at my local shop, hitting about 5 or 6 different drivers in various shaft and loft combinations. I really thought I would end up with a Callaway or Titleist, but the Cleveland consistently gave me the best stats on the launch monitor.

When I last played regularly, a solid drive would carry maybe 210 to 220 with 10 yards or so of roll. After he got a good read on my swing stats, the pro said there was no reason that I should not be carrying the ball somewhere in the 255 to 260 range. I didn't believe it but that has turned out to be the case, and I've had a couple that ended up around 270 with a bit of roll. More importantly is the confidence of knowing the ball is going fairly straight every time.

It has certainly made getting back into the game fun.
