| New Driver loft / Flex question.... I am currently playing a r510 TP with 757 R flex. Been wanting a S flex in same set up. I can get an r7 TP with weights and everything new for about $100.00 more than the 510. The r510 TP is 9.5* My question is this.....the r7TP I can get is 10.5 loft. However, it is stiffer flex than I am currently playing. With the 855 different launch and swing weight set ups, I don't see this as a major issue. Is there anything I need to be aware of??? I am not worried about the shaft flex. If I don't like the S, I can always take the R out of my r510 TP and put it in the R7. Thanks |

| Re: New Driver loft / Flex question.... Well, depending on your swing speed, you may experience more yardage out of your driver, and more accuracy. Or you may experience more yardage, and everything goes push-side. How far are your drives carrying with your current setup? |

| Re: New Driver loft / Flex question.... I feel like I am having to lay off the current driver. My normal miss is a pull with occasional hook. When I am hitting it well, I get carrys of 225-240 Since the R7 TP is very similar to the r510 TP. I was thinking all the set up options would be worth it. | Re: New Driver loft / Flex question.... Most likely with more loft you'll get more distance, however, from a static point of view, you might work better with a firm shaft (halfway between regular and stiff). However, there are plenty of people that defy static charts - and you may be one of them. I'd say go ahead and try the new club - it may be just what the doctor ordered. |
