| I recently received my Dad's set of MacGregor MT forged blades. I believe he bought the set new somtime in the early 80's. I know they've been around for a while because the woods are persimmon with a beautiful finish. Mom says that he probably played less than 10 rounds with them. I have no idea what the original value of this set was or where they ranked on the quality scale of the time. I have tried several rounds with them which have been challenging to say the least. If anyone out there has any information regarding the quality or "playability" of the set using today's high-tech balls, I'd appreciate the feedback. thanks! Mike P |
