B-Square: any good?

A low budget supermarket (in Belgium) is selling golf equipment of B-SQUARE at very low prices.

A driver (titanium, 420cc, lift 10,5° or 11,5°) costs only 45 euro (54 US Dollars).

A whole set is only 229 euro (277 US Dollars) and includes:

- bag
- trolley
- 8 irons: 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, PW and SW
- 3 woods: 1, 3 and utility
- putter

shafts from High Modular Graphite with Ultra Low Torque Flex R

Should I hurry and buy this stuff or is this **** ???

Re: B-Square: any good?

What do you think? A decent bag and cart cost that much. A decent set of shafts for the whole set is at least 3 times that much. BUT if it's all you can afford, it's better than nothing. Advice - look for some used equipment on eBay if cost is a concern.

Re: B-Square: any good?

actually, money is not so much the problem

but I only started golf 3 months ago and maybe spending much money on a set is now overkill ??

or can a rookie notice the difference between a mediocre set and a top set ?

And on ebay in Belgium is not so much golf equipment.

Re: B-Square: any good?

Here's the set I just bought via EBAY - should be getting them in sometime next week. They're my first ever NEW set - was playing with some used (very worn down) Tommy Armour 845s before that I got for like 70 bucks at Golf Galaxy.

In a couple weeks I'll be expecting the F2 Series 56 degree wedge from the family since it was my Bday this past weekend

Re: B-Square: any good?

LIDL huh?
I just picked up a practice net, a pair of leather shoes and 24 balls for €75
the full set (bag clubs etc) was only €179 over here (Ireland)
To be honest from what I saw that set would a suit a beginner/occasional golfer just fine.
At that level the equipment is the least of your worries...

Go now before they are all gone!

It was indeed LIDL !
I bought the shoes and the driver.
My friend bought the whole set; mainly cause he only had 1 iron 6 ...

I have all the leftovers from my father and father-in-law, which is not to bad after all (includes 2 PING woods)
