Question New driver.

Thinking about buying Mac powersphere driver fitted with Fujkura graphite shaft. Would appreciate any feedback on this club.

Re: New driver.

I read some good reviews on this driver. I have never had a go with one myself. But seeing how im a new golfer i would want more than 421cc. I se a Northwestern PRO Plus 10 460cc beta titanium driver atm. I feel only the person using the club knows if it's the right for them.

Re: New driver.

Very few people have evr gone wrong with MacGregor equipment. I have hit one on the swing monitor and it was great. I just don't like the shape of it, it doesn't fit my eye.

If you like it and it works well - go for it!

Re: New driver.

Thats sound advice. Go with the driver that works right , feels right and looks right for you the individual.

Re: New driver.

Isn;t the Powersphere Mac Burrows, not MacGregor? I haven't heard much about them performance wise, but they have really declined in price and the hype about them has seems to fade away. If the price is right, it definitely can't hurt to give it a whirl.

Thumbs up Re: New driver.

Just taken delivery of Mac Burrows powersphere driver. As you correctly said not a Mcgregor club. It is fitted with Fujikura Vista Pro 50 graphite shaft which retails for around £60, not a bad buy.Arctic weather here in Scotland so will have to wait for better temparature before giving it a work out.
