DO Different Balls do different thing's ?????????

Point of this posting is do you play with one brand one ball, or do you play with anything.
What happens when you find some stray balls on the course of various makes do you use them on the next hole assuming good condition and they are clean??

The ones I sort out are the spin and extra spin balls I keep these for the short par 3s and only the Titleist I keep for myself the others I give away
Does it make a big difference if you use a Pro V1 or a Cheapish ball like Top-Flite to a mid-high handicapper.
