golf grips

what would people say is the tackiest/stickyest grip out there?

is there an regulations about putting any liquids on the grips to make them tackier? if not, does anyone recommend anything to put on a grip to make it stickier.

i find the stickier the grip, the looser i can grip and the less tension i have and the more distance i get

Re: golf grips

after each round i give my grips a rubbing with very fine sand paper and then srcub them with a nailbrush and warm soapy water. Keeps them tacky

Thumbs down Re: golf grips

In my experience many of the top range clubs are fitted with inferior grips. I am constantly being asked to regrip clubs after just a few months wear.I could mention my favourite grip manufacturer but don't want to be sen as endorsing.

I hear ya. It'd be terrible to say that I like to put Winn Classic RF's on my irons, and Golf Pride Tour Velvet's on my fairway woods.

You're allowed to have a favourite, Auldyn. My favourite wedges are the SMT's. See? Favourite.
