| Re: irons Always get custom fitted irons if you are buying brand new. Don't let the pro shop fob you off by letting them charge you to be fitted, AFAIK NO golf shops in the UK will charge for a fitting if you are buying a set of clubs... For the top end of your budget, take a look at the Mizuno MX-17s, or for slightly more the Cobra 3400. The other irons comparable to these, but cheaper would be the Wilson Staff Di6 (http://www.wilson.com/wilson/staff/p...bmLocale=en_GB) or Srixons new I-403 Irons (http://www.srixon.com/club_iron_403.asp) It all depends which one you like Hope this helps...I have always said that if you have fitted clubs , you have no excuse for a bad swing apart from yourself. Wielding my Cobra 3400s makes me feel very confident in them because they're MY clubs... uniquely
