Regriping clubs I'm looking to get my irons regripped as I'm getting some wear spots and was wondering if anybody has an recent experience of getting theirs done? I'll be getting a local pro shop to do it so I'm more concerned with what grips you've found to be best, either from the various manfacturers (Golf Pride or Lamkin) or particular products (Decade Multicompond or Tour Velvet).

Hi there i did my own re-gripping a little while ago and it was so easy. I bought some nice Duron Grips from Golf Grips Direct and some water activated tape strips, after I cleaned the old grips off it was so simple to follow the instructions and re-grip all my clubs and they now feel like new regards anthony

Re: Regriping clubs No poroblem I choose the double durometer grips because of the size of my hands i have great big thick paws and needed something to get hold of that would not slip through my fingers. but for my driver i choose a Softie wrap and it feels great i guess i was just lucky on the first try. regards anthony

Re: Regriping clubs Cheers Welshie, I guess I'll have to wander down to the pro shop and test them out to see which fits me best. The grips I currently have are OEM Tour Velvet. It's kind of funny to see that these grips only cost 2.50 GBP, especially compared to the total cost of the irons.
