Re: Callaway Fusion FT-3 I tried it when it first came out and loved it, although I couldn't justify the price at the time. I found it incredibly accurate but maybe with not so much distance as other drivers (less than 5% difference though). The main complaint would be the feedback of the noise: it's more of a clunk than a bang but still preferable to the high pitched "TING!" you get from some drivers. The shaft was also a fraction on the whippy side for the stated stiffness. Other comparable ones would be Cobra Speed series and the Cleveland ones.

Re: Callaway Fusion FT-3 I went from a Titleist 975 to the X460. It took me awhile to get used to it. I found that teeing up slightly higher and off my left toe gave me the best results. The lauch angle and ball flight is different than I am used to but the results are longer, more accurate drives.

Re: Callaway Fusion FT-3 I tried the X 460 the other night and I had exactly the same comments. The R shaft was much softer than my R Mizuno. I didn't like the sound but I suppose that's aesthetics really. Couldn't make it move like my Mizuno. I'd really like to try a newer version of their drivers. Callaway is over-rated. Don't settle on a brand. Go to a good golf shop and plan to spend at least a couple of hours trying out a variety. Try your best NOT to be influenced by the brand. There are a lot of good clubs out there. Get fitted for the right shaft for your swing. They're all different.
