How is the Cleveland Launcher 330 driver when compared to Big Bertha Steelhead 3 driver? I plan on buying one so pls advise promptly.

dixees,

Picking a driver is like picking a good woman, you have to get one that suits you and you have to consistantly hit the sweet spot.

Dixees, you really can't say which one is better, just go to a dealer or range that has demo clubs. Bang some balls out there, and see what suit your eye. The technology differences would be +or- 5 yards. It's really pretty insignificant.

The major thing is loft and shaft flex. If you can get on a swing machine look for a combination that will get you a 12* launch angle as this is optimal.

(Just for comparison, I use a Biggest Big Bertha, 305cc head, 9*with a Penley Tour Light Stiff Shaft, and a Tour Diamond Winn Grip. For me this combination sets up well, I can hit it off the fairway if I need to, I hit the ball slightly on the upswing and my launch angle is usually between 12* and 12.75*).

The only clubs I use are Clevelands
I play the Cleveland TA5's Irons
I also play Cleveland wedges 52' Gap wedge and 56' Sand Wedge
I play the 15'(3 wood), and 19'(5 wood)
I also play the Cleveland Launcher 330CC Driver

This is the best driver out there

I have played Callaway's before, and they are no match for a Cleveland driver

This is the number 2 club on tour

Pros and Cons

Callaway
Stock shaft in a callaway club is not that great
Grip wears out rather fast
and they are very unforgiving clubs

Celveland
Great shaft codesigned manufactured by Fujikura and codesigned by Cleveland
Clubhead 330CC is a very forgiving clubhead
Grip- In my opinion these are the most durable and comfortable grips out there (Golf Pride Tour Velvet)
Very forgiving clubs

On a scale of 1-10
I would rate the driver and all other cleveland clubs at 10 or 11
