| Superquad Tour Prefered Other than shaft, and that the tp version has 6 different weights (which can be bought) what other differences are there betwenn a normal r7 Superquad and a tp version.. I tried both the Superquad tp and Superquad and I preferred the normal one! The tp launched it a little higher and the normal one felt nicer overall! Not sure if I like the stock shaft though. Tried a Titleist D2 with the proforce shaft and found that both shafts launched it a little too high and no run (too much spin) any ideas for a shaft upgrade? Aldila NV75, Grafalloy Blue or Prolaunch red? the shafts were stiff that I tried but not sure if I should get an xtra stiff...? My club pro says he doesn't think I'm strong enough but I have an Extra Stiff Fujikura tp shaft on my tp rescue and I hit it really good! My average drive is about 285 yards with not much run...

| Re: Superquad Tour Prefered Usually - the "Tour" versions have a slightly open clubface and the "non-tour" slightly closed. Not sure about the TM R7 Superquad, but with the Callaway FT5, I believe it is 2deg closed v. ˝deg open. Edited to add: Dashed over to TaylorMade Golfto check, and while there are no numbers on the "non-tour" SuperQuad, they make an effort to notice that the TP is 1deg open.
