shaft flex

I have a swing speed of around 72 to 74. I have a stiff flex driver. Should I go to the expence of buying a regular shafted version or should I be able to use the stiff shaft? I have used this driver a few times, sometimes good sometimes not so good.
Would A regular flex shaft help me with consistency?
