New Protein that is excellent for golfers...

Guys,

I can't believe you guys are so dismissive of any health boosting products, how many of you drink "Red Bull" or wear a "copper band" around your wrist, if it aids golf then great.

I suspect that any beginner would suffer aches and pains like any new exercise would cause, this will eventually subside with repetitiveness (however not medicine "protein" of any kind).

Keeping a healthy balanced diet with regular exercise should not cause any golfer aches and pains, it is usually down to a poor swing with to much agression and tense limbs, pro golfers play 5/6 times per week in extreme conditions, not many suffer through this.

If you think it works it probably will, if you think miss the water before the tee shot you will have a wet ball.

Touting the product was Asmodius' first post - huckster style. You know we've had our fair share of these types of posts - I've just never seen someone ripped so hard for it before.

I am not dismissing the health benefits, but I don't blithely rely on "blind" information. Personally I like to consider the source first. I hope you have read the earlier website that I presented, with regard to the source.

As an asside:
I have a biochemistry degree so...It is surprising that a "new protein" will have all the health benefits, because as soon as the protein is in your stomach it is denatured (stomach acid) and then broken down into its base amino acids. And you can get all of those from a nice steak (mmmm steak). Your body then absorbs the amino acids in your intestine, and direct protein absorbtion is probably very limited (if not zero) because of the size of the polypeptide chain and the body would need a mechanism to transport the protein across the cell membrane (very tricky stuff that would possibly require genetic engineering). I wouldn't be surprised if the health benefits are from all the other stuff (minerals, fatty acids, vitamins, other complex carbon chains, etc) that is included in the RX-98. Don't get me wrong. Getting a sufficient supply of amino acids, minerals, vitamins, fatty acids, etc would be beneficial to anybody's health (not limited to golfers), but to say that it is all from a "new protein" is a bit of a stretch.

Charles, I think you would benefit from reading a little more of the info from our main site. www.designerwhey.com, Whey protein isn't broken down in your stomach as easily. It's absorbed though your intestines. Not only that but our protein is encapsulated in a manner that allows it to be time released. I know my first post must have seemed very "huckster" style and I don't mind being ribbed for it. But I do strongly believe in this product, I do use it myself regularly and I do stand by the results it's delievered for me. I do agree with Ian that there is a degree of the results that is psychosematic. But still there is a lot of science to back this up. As for the new protein, well it is fairly new, it's called MicroLactin and it's derived from a method of creating the Whey protein. There is a lot of data, from biochemists, MD's, Nutritionists, pro athletes and more to back up the claims made.

Did you ever ask why the hell did Mr. Jenkins smuggle $70 million worth of steroids? I'm sure he's a respectable man but it's hard to put faith behind a product when you know the man behind it has a nasty criminal record.

you know, I don't really see that a "nasty" criminal record. Because then you're putting him up there with; armed robbers, rapists, pedophiles, murderers and a lot mor. But I do get your point. He's definitely not the criminal type any more, he's highly intelligent, knows his business and has guts. I tend to think that's a pretty good thing in a boss.

A lot of our actions are driven my the motive of making money. My point is Mr. Jenkins had the guts to disobey the law to make personal gains. When someone has the capacity and audacity to cross the line, his moral attributes are questionable. There's no argument there.

I'm sure he's a great boss with excellent leadership qualities.

As the article in the link provided by Started2k3 states, those that deal in drugs on the 'wrong side of the law' should (and often are) equally good on the proper side.

The reprehensible part is that he had the misdirected idea to operate against societal right.

But to make the coin he did running 'roids, it makes perfect sense that he'd be able to make the same cash running legal chems.

Putting the protein in a gel capsule (carbohydrate) will protect it from the stomach acids, and small proteins may be able to avoid many of the stomach enzymes.

From what I can gather. MicroLactin is not a new protein, but a set of proteins that are already in cow's milk. What is new is the isolation and concentration of these proteins, developed by Stolle Milk Biologics, Inc. Since these are not new proteins, then the human body may already have the transport mechanisms for these milk based proteins to breach the cellular membrane (similar proteins may be in human breast milk).

If you actually engineered a brand new protein, it would most likely be broken down into amino acids (singles or very short peptide chains) to be absorbed.

By the way, the clinical trial described on your "competitors" website, is not that convincing of a trial due to the lack of sample size (18 people). You could probably find a better one. Please don't bother, I am sure that the others on this 'board', are exactly that - with the science of the whey protein.

Online forums, like this, can provide "free" advertising for products. Alas the users of the forum, like myself, have fallen into their trap. At this point in time this thread has had 178 viewings. By responding "asmodius" has been able to supply us with even more information on his product.

Although it has been fun , forum users aggressively trying to stop the free advertising is not effective, because even calling him a "huckster" only means that he can supply more advertising information to the forum clients.

Either the forum moderators "kill" the thread, or the forum users ignore the thread until it dies (of old age - not listed in the "new posts" category ).
