| warning! hi all you newbies, just a warning to all you people who are strating out in this game:- it can seriously damage your bank balance i started just over 18 months ago and cant get enough of the game in the past few weeks i have bought a couple of books(pelz short game and kuzmic's fit for golf) ive had my clubs customised ive joined the gym to build some core muscle and get more flexability and just got back from golf course after booking a block of 6 lessons. hoping to get my scores down this year by improving my all round game and if i do then every penny will be well spent! beware you have been warned!!!! ![]()

| Re: warning! Maybe it's a pandemic? I have a lot of same symptoms. Maybe golf clubs and balls should have a warning like tobacco has - Golf might danger your family life ... no more spare time... I am also trying to learn to play better golf this season - as a sign of my progress will be my handicap lowering from 41 to single digits. Hannu |

| Re: warning! Golf is expensive on many ways. It costs money and time. BUT what do we get from it? Is this worth it? Of course every golfer thinks it is. Why would we play if it was not? So you pay a lot, but you get more in return:-) I don't use a lot of money for my golf, but I do put a lot of time in to it. And I am learning to know my self in the process and getting fit at the same time. Just what I need as I am getting closer to 50 years of age. Hannu |

| Re: warning! it has nothing to do wiyh starting out. Ive played golf for 19 years of my 29 on earth. ive started to get serious of late once again but my girlfriend(who is new to my golf obsession) is appauled at the massive hole in the bank vault where my money used to be.. Ive spent thousands in a matter of weeks. . ask yourself when the money pitt will end and ure faced with only one logical answer. . . . . . . . . .it will never end! and you will never as good as you want to be! |
