| Re: Ouch Since changing my swing (to a body movement vs an arms hitting movement), I've had a sore lead ankle after 18. In Nicole's favour, I keep my lead foot pretty square at address (to allow for a longer backswing) - leading to a lot of torque and stress on the lower body (ankle, knee, hip). I'm willing to take it, though, as my ball striking is the best it's ever been! |

| Re: Ouch Thanks you two. I too have a fairly square lead foot, so I'll try Nicole's suggestion. I've actually been moving more to a "free swing of the left arm" a la Leslie King, paradoxically I've found my body turn increasing, presumably to get out of the way of the arms. However until yesterday I'd had no problems. Mind you yesterday I was on a "play as much as you want for a tenner" deal at my local 9 hole and starting early managed 2 nines either side of lunch. Oh and btw on the last 9 I managed a personal course best which at bogey golf not might sound much to everyone else but seeing that as you'll know, at the beginning of the year I struggled to break 100 meant I went home happy. Sore. But happy.
