Titliest 755 Forged Irons

As a general rule, for years I was your standard traditionalist, following the old adage..I am a scratch player, therefore I must play a blade. To top that off, I always used components and put them together myself. I broke both of these rules, this past year. I bought the Titliest 755's initially because they look really good, I loved the little red marker thing on the back..lol..good as reason as any, huh

Ok, even though these clubs are designed for the mid handicapper and cavity backed for forgiveness. primarily aimed at the 8-15 handicap group. Don't let that fool you, these are great clubs period. These thing not only look great, they play like a blade, with that little bit of forgiveness. I though the ball height was little high, tuff to get them to go low on windy days, but other then that, workability was on par with any blade I have played. They feel very balanced. A quick check proved out the D2 swing weight was spot on throughout the set, usual for mass produced golf, Titliest has always, is a solid company when it comes to quality, always has been.

Being a club maker of course, I am always interested in the specs. Off the shelf these clubs, once again, loft wise were spot on, I was amazed. Some of the lie's were off a few degrees, but that is no biggie, You will will fitting these things anyways. These clubs are very bendable. The tri-spec shaft is wonderful, a bit like the DG gold S400 in stiff flex with a low kick point. Which would explain the slightly higher ball flight and the difficulty to getting it low. Of course you can get these in any shaft you like, I can only comment on the tri-spec stiff, since that is what I have in it.

My opinion, these are great clubs, if your a mid to low handicapper, jump on these, you'll love them. If your a 20 or above, your not going to like these, They are forgiving being a cavity back, but they are not that forgiving.
