Hi speed diital SLR camera Hi, Does anyone know of a decent hi-speed digital SLR camera on the market suitable of hi fps for golf shots, other than Casio Exilim? I'm not sure exactly the minimum fps required (maybe someone can help) to get impact shots, but there was one guy on YouTube who posted his swing taken with a Casio Exilim , and was close to SwingVision type frame rates. I think my current camcorder does about 50fps but you miss a lot of frames around the impact area where the club head is swinging the fastest. Casio didn't have a good review for other areas of photography which is why I want to miss this brand out

Re: Hi speed diital SLR camera I just bought a Nikon D90 that should be arriving today. I can tape a couple swings and we can see!

Re: Hi speed diital SLR camera It's a bit blurry through impact, still better than a regular 24fps camcorder. For the first time in about 6 years, I've managed to capture the moment of impact on my Panny Camcorder! Sheer luck. Anything more than this and I'll be happy. I've heard when you up the frame rate the quality degrades to low res on some cameras. I use V1 Home to view my swing - what will be the minimum fps for decent viewing of a swing, including the impact? Last edited by koonl; 02-23-2009 at 07:24 PM..
