| Over the Top or Pull I am consistently hitting the ball with an open club face resulting in a big fade. When I attempt to make a correction so that I have an inside swing I end up pulling the ball way left. Is there an exercise or drill I can practice to help be come back into the ball square. Or back on the inside track as opposed to an over the top swing back into the ball. Sincerely, Robert |

| Re: Over the Top or Pull Don't use your hands to flip the club shut to square it...this is what is causing the pulls. The open face is caused by your rotation not completing fully prior to impact. Your hands should naturally close the face without them frcing the face shut if you use your lower body first, then rotate your shoulders, then your arms and last your hands are squared up. Like uncoiling a spring. |
