| Good Connection??? Howdy A lot of what I read about on the site deals with mechanics of the swing. My question deals with drills or concepts that produce consist connection with the ball at impact. I know the question may seem a little naive, as solid swing mechanics & practice play such a big part Recently I started working on tempo and timming with practicing a count through back and throughswing. It helped. If you have something simple to try for connection I'd love to give it a whirl. Thanks......Sparky |

| Thanks for the tip, Golfbald I just need to confirm a few details with this drill. When you talk about bringing the club up to your chest are you refering to having the club at right angles to your body (out front) or a normal back swing stopping with the arms crossing the chest? Also the left hand drill finger on the navel, I'm not sure of? Maybe a simple sketching tool would prove handy incorporated in the reply section? |
