Where do you Practice? I have been reading the Pelz "Short Game Bible" and want to apply some of the yardage measurement routines but don't have an appropriate place to do it. Has anyone tried to do this off the course or range? Where do you practice such that you know how far your shots are flying in the air?

Re: Where do you Practice? I've got 60 yards from the end of my pool shed to my back property. I use that. Before I had that, I'd do it at the range. I'd get some strange stares taking these little swings and lasering off the balls after hitting 5 or so. (Or hitting to flags, and trying to figure out the distances.)

Re: Where do you Practice? I have several schools in my area with fields large enough to practice. Just have to go in off hours when it's empty. Usually early mornings. Weekends, of course, are best. I do go to the range sometimes, but If I had to pay for every ball I hit, I'd be broke.
