Too much legs

I can make good contact with the ball except when I do a squat during my downswing. It is a bad habit that causes a fat shot. It keeps creeping
back into my sing.

Is there a drill that I can do that would help me keep my legs quite?

Thanks
Doug

Re: Too much legs

I don't know if it will help you quiet your legs but it will help you stop squatting. Think of maintaining your back leg bent on the backswing. Just this little technique will bring you a little closer to the ball to begin with so you'll have to sort of stand up on the downswing to avoid hitting it fat. It's like a reverse psychology thingy.

Re: Too much legs

Did you try to analyze what triggered squatting?
A Fast Tempo especially at beginning of the downswing could be the reason.
What is too fast, is out of control and gives unpredictable, not consistent results (squatting is one of these).
