Swing Glove

Can anyone tell me if the Swing Glove can be worn in competition? It is a training aid but I've seen people wearing wrist braces so what would be the difference?

Thanks,

Tigress

Re: Swing Glove

On their website under "frequent questions" they say it is a training aid, and therefore not legal to use in sanctioned events. It's a decent training aid, but does not hold up very long under normal wear, and tear. GJS

Re: Swing Glove

Thanks for the response! I'll just use it for practice. I do find it useful so far.

Re: Swing Glove

I play occasionally with a guy that wears it for rounds, calling it a 'wrist brace'.

I mentioned that he should head to the website and read the FAQ's - it's a training aid and illegal in comp.

He comes back with 'I don't play comps'.

Fair enough. But between the swing glove and kicking the ball into a better line and not taking penalty strokes - don't say you beat me at the end of the day. I was playing golf. You were playing a game with golf balls and golf clubs - and a special, special glove.

A new highlight: Golfing the home course on Christmas Day.

I say it too often: If it's golf club shaped, you can play with it.

For the record, I'm a club doctor, not a swing doctor.
