| Re: Winter Rules / Tees 2 points, lads 1. That will teach you to aim the shot properly Ricky!!! I see lots of players, even really good ones, taking the line of the mat as the line and missing fairways or greens. Make a point of aiming your shot properly, its a good habit to get into. 2. You can tee the ball up 2 clublengths behind the markers, that means you might not have to use the mats.....bear that in mind especially if, like my course, your winter mats are at ground level. D. |

| Re: Winter Rules / Tees Awww poor baby!!!! I wasnt picking on you Ricky (sheesh, what an Ego) I was just expanding on your comment about green keepers never aligning the mats correctly...... Just dont to the club thing in competition. I would also mention that you should take extra care when using the club at the feet method that you dont just assume that because your feet are right that your aim will be. Always check your shoulder alignment carefully as well, its just as important. D. |
