Note that while it is your choice, a lot of clubs (mine!) force you to use a tee from all teeing areas. Unless you actually saw it go into the water you should elect to play a provisional. Unless you say "This is a provisional" its not and if you go down and find your first its tough. also, if you play a provo and then go look for your first and find it in a tree, tough, thats the ball in play now. so if you dont want to find it, DONT LOOK! (at least until you have played the provo into play) |
