| Re: is it legal Here's another idea that should be just as legal as using a club: Bring a friend and a 200 yard line to the course. Have your friend run ahead with one end of the line to where you want to land and place the other end close to your ball. Align yourself and, when happy, have your friend roll up the line before you take your shot. That will probably make your playing partners go ballistic in no time at all! |

| Re: is it legal A string is so much better: you can see the line the entire distance and you know that it is correct. A club is short and it is harder to see if it is aligned correctly. I never top the ball 50 yards and neither does anyone else, right? Just get a friend that likes to run a lot, and you should be OK. ![]() |
