shoulder alignment

is it legal to place a club across your chest to check your shoulder alignment. i do it at the range when practising but is it a different matter when you are playing in a comp etc

You are allowed to place the club across your chest in comps as well. You can even place a club on the ground to align yourself to as long as you remove it before you take your shot.

i only ask as im playing my first comp in a weeks time and i still like to check where my shoulders are aiming
