Ruling please folks!!!!!!!!!!!

Can anyone tell me what the rule is if when your ball splits in two when you have hit your approach shot please?

Yup - Under Rule 5.3

"If a ball breaks into pieces as a result of a stroke, the stroke is cancelled and the player must play a ball without penalty as nearly as possible at the spot from which the original ball was played (see Rule 20-5)."

It'd be a pretty harsh marker who'd try to have you continue with the old ball, claiming that the larger half was still "fit for play......."
