| Re: What is a shank? As the name says it all...I am very new to golf and do all of the above. It's not as bad as when I first started, but having a consistent swing is harder than it looks for me. I work out and bench press 300-335 pounds, so muscling the ball, instead of naturally using shoulders and hips to power is a big problem for me, and I played baseball for 14 years straight, so the baseball swing and lifting of the leadoff foot is just now getting under control. But yes, the address is definitely a big issue for me...among 1003 other technique problems. This is the only game that I've ever played where I sucked so bad, but can't wait to get more punishment! LOL |
