| Re: What Handicap? G'day rofl1970 To get an official handicap you need to submit five cards to your club handicapper. These cards should be for rounds played under competition conditions and be signed by a marker. This will probably take you a bit of time. If the event you are playing in is a sort of one off social event then the handicapping system used and the handicap given to you is up to the organisers. There are a number of systems used to calculate a handicap for a one off event. The Callaway system is probably the most popular of these. Good luck at the event and have a great day of golf. D |
