| Round Robin In biographies about players pre-50's I encounter this term. Seems they played one or two Round Robins a year, but I can't figure out exactly what kind of tournament it is. Heven't encountered anything similar here in Sweden so I have nothing to compare it with. Is it strokeplay or matchplay? Limited field? Is it still played today, albeit not by the pros? |

| There are still several versions of round robin played in the present era:- - everybody plays everybody, with results based on both net & gross scores - one vs the field (as the name suggests) - swing team - skins game You can check this link for more detailed info: http://www.sportswaregolf.com/hs1250.htm |
