You may have to put your flame suit on next time.

You're right there are many ways to skin a cat. But to the contrary, alot of the instruction on golf sites and books are pretty much saying the samething with different words and discriptions.

One thing is for sure..GTO has the most patient and thorough teachers that I have found on the World Wide Web.

I don't know - I pretty much stand by what I said. Whilst I don't disagree with you that many people are saying different things, it often seems to me that they don't recognise it, believing that their 'key thought' trumps everyone elses.

Oh Dear! Injecting a few light hearted posts didn't hit the spot then?

Re: Great results by pre setting impact position

Well my book arrived, I've read about half of it and it has already confirmed why my little pre impact routine is working, this is skill1 in action! - hitting the ball at the correct angle of attack for the first time in my life (had a 76 at the weekend) which is my best round for ages.

Can't wait to learn the others, my opinion (and I stress MY) on the book so far is"as they say"

***Highly Recommended***

Brian, my friend, I'm certain you know me well enough to know that I was tickled by the light-hearted posts, and also that my statement above wasn't directed at you or this thread!

I was just driving at my suspicion tht if you ask 10 different golfers for advice, you'd get 10 different opinions. I'm absolutely sure that yours would be the correct one, though
