| Hitting through and taking a divot with your irons... To all, I hardly ever take a divot with my irons. I see the pros on TV are always taking a divot and I think it is indicative of a nice clean hit. So, in the past week, I saw a note by CMAYS about putting more weight on your left side and also a note about looking at the target side of the ball. I have been working on it and I must say I have noticed a much more solid hit. The one thing that bothers me though, is with the weight on your left, or front side doesn't this promote a reverse pivot?? I would love to hear your opinions. Thanks, Chessbum... |
