SK3 - I get it at last

Got the book, practised the skills, found SK1 and SK2 easy enough and they produced great results both on and off the course.

SK3 was eluding me though, I just didn't feel like I could tell whether the club was opening and closing enough through the impact zone to acquire the legendary 'effortless power'

Well, down the range last night I got a glimpse of it, the only way I can describe it is that I seemed to be fanning the club more open on the backswing - this, I thought would produce an open clubface at impact and weak fades but no - for some reason the clubface was being pulled into square contact as in SK1, and the results were fantastic, I suddenly felt the effortless power kicking in and I was getting a lovely 200 yard penetrating draw with a 4 iron...oh yes it was a great feeling

Once you've had it, you'll want more I can guarantee, so anyone out there struggling with SK3 - keep at it, it is worth it!
