Where's The Body?

Am I right in assuming that good old cmays has been purged from the history books? His posts have gone and it's as if he never existed (I suppose someone may now ask who I'm talking about).

Re: Where's The Body?

I was wondering myself. If someone get's kicked off usually you erase the most recent offending posts and just leave the rest. I guess he just really, really pissed everyone off.

Re: Where's The Body?

He may have self-deleted. I don’t know if that’s possible.

If he’s been removed by the admins, or if they have any additional information they can share, perhaps they will fill us in on the situation.

Re: Where's The Body?

Was he a bad guy? I've been here short time, but of the posts of his I saw he seemed informative and non-abrasive.

Re: Where's The Body?

Not a bad guy. I was kinda annoyed with him at first because his comments can be rather cryptic and instructions confusing. I just got used to him and eventually made sense on some issues for me. He clashed with a lot of people around here by challenging them and sometimes ridiculing them. Guess he went overboard with that one too many times.

I'll give you that. There were times that I would open one of his threads and say "Huh?!". It never struck me as anything other than his thought process was not complete or something.

Re: Where's The Body?

Yea!

I'm pretty curious myself what is going on?

I've been watching CMAYS replying to threads but am not seeing the post?

Like I said what is going on?....Is he blocked? And yanking every post (good or bad)?

HMMM...Very confused right now. How about an explantion from somebody.

Exclamation Re: Where's The Body?

Maybe it would be time for me to frequent another site? I am one who seems to only lurk and not contribute because of my inexperience.

I am on a few other unrelated sites that when those in charge have enough with someone for one reason or another decide to banish them from further posting. But to go back and remove any post written by the banished poster has a way of making for some disjointed threads when read by others in the future and I find that disturbing. I find it more disturbing that not one of those able to answer the questions as to why this was done have not spoken up AT ALL.

What was so heinous as to require this type of banishment?

If my question is not addressed in a reasonable amount of time, I will leave the site. I hope others will feel the same and vote with leaving as well. If there is a reasonable motivation let's put it up here for the good of the site. Erasing someone like Cmays to make it as though he didn't exist is wrong. If those in charge of this site don't understand that, well, maybe this is not a site to belong to.

Will this post or I ever exist after this? If not, anyone regularly using this site needs to search within themselves to understand why they would continue to use a site that would censor someones contributions for years because of something that just plain "pissed someone off" as of today.

Someone needs to explain what has happened to Cmays!!!

Re: Where's The Body?

hi
cmays started a good many posts on here that many members added to and help make some very interesting points, sometime the other posts being added to his were very interesting and helpful. he did bring up a good many issues that had not been tackled before or at least i had not seen them. like some other's i did find some of his posts hard to understand but i think that was just his way, he knew what he was saying but just did not get it over to other in a easy manner. he could be a bit abrupt at time but again i think it was just his way.
would hope the people running this site would let us know why there are none of his posts there anymore and reading back over some posts don't make any sense as some of them were answers to his post and if you don't know the question then the post don't make ant sense.
something is not right when many of us have taken time to answer to Cmays post and tried to make sense of them and to find that all your posts are there but the posts you are taking about are gone?????
Greg can you let us know whats going on please.
thanks
bill

Lightbulb Re: Where's The Body?

I am currently looking into this situation.

I am awaiting a response from cmays, and do not believe it is fair to discuss in detail until I get a response.

I do understand your frustration in not knowing, and I apologise. I always aim to keep the forum as open and as friendly as possible.

Let it be known that written attacks against fellow members on GTO will NOT be tolerated.

I will post a reply when a conclusion is reached in this matter.
