Feet Together

When ever my swing feels disconnected and shots start becoming inconsistent I make practice swings with my feet together, this really ingrains good balance and tempo. I normally hit a number of balls like this at the range with a 7 iron to warm up, it's surprising how far you can hit like this and how straight.

Re: Feet Together

A driving range pro once told me that when you watch the guys on the pga tour its just amazing because they are swinging so hard but if you look at their swings they are completely balanced. That's mainly what this drill does is just for balance and to get that feel, and he said if you're well balanced throughout the swing, itll feel good and most likely the shot will be pretty good. Whats amazing with the tour pros is that they maintain that balance while having swing speeds of 110+. Their swings are just so unbelievably perfected that they can do that.

Basically what I learned is that balance is the most important part of the golf swing.
