Question Foward Press with Driver

As of late I am having problem with driver the further along the round goes the more the problem.
I keep getting a stronger grip and a more foward press with the hands and I wind up hitting snap hooks and feeling very ackward.
It is very depressing as I was used to feeling very relaxed during my swing.
Anyone ever go thru this? How do you fix? Maybe a drill I could use.
Thanks:

So you are strengthening your grip as the round goes on to counter a slice and snap hooks are occurring due to your hands trying close the face down to counter that slice. If you are pressing your hands forward too far, that actually opens up the face to a slicing position...but it all depends on what is really happening at the point of impact. Doing a forward press, is sometimes doing nothing if the relative position of the hands and arms and clubface stay the same.

Your idea of relaxation at the beginning of the round is correct...and we all have that. The trick is keeping it. How hard it is to stay that relaxed after a big-ol' slice O.B.

To talk directly to fixing a slice, there are a couple of reasons this can happen: Open face at impact and/or and outside-in swing path. What causes these? Lots of things. Everything from your hands not releasing properly, late release, casting too early at the top causing the outside-in path, a reverse pivot, and not rotating but sliding your hips. All these can be varriable degrees of error and sometimes multipal combos of each other.

The first thing to fix (if it is one of your problems) is the proper use and release of the hands. This is one of those errors that can reak havoc to any swing causing all sorts of counter fixes that are worse then the original problem.

Go here for my Right Hand Drill on the proper use of the hands. Once you do this, you will discover that it was either one of the problems or you were doing this correctly, let me know and we can go from there.

I practiced swinging with my right hand in that position and it actually felt very comfortable and then I went to the range and hit some balls and was very pleased with the ball striking and the flight direction.

This has to be one of the best tips I ever received. I know I will certainly remember this one.

I know one of the keys to staying relaxed is confidence, and this tip (after trying it) has boosted my confidence..
THANKS for your help.
