Stack and Tilt vs One Plane Swing - Similar??

I have been finding improvement with a more one plane swing and have always had a preference to remain centered over the ball on backswing.

Something I have tried to change due to it being "wrong". I've been told its terrible to not get weight to right foot on backswing.

Anyway this new stack and tilt swing seems to be for me! Rotational backswing (one planeish) and centered weight.

Obviously the key will be in me getting on the range but theoretically am I right in thinking the one plane stuff i have picked up will still apply for stack in tilt if i just remain more centered on backswing then move aggressively to left side on downswing?

I think staying centred in the swing is good as long as the spine angle is maintained. I am not so convinced with the "Tilt" part though, this could lead to problems with amateur golfers or professionals come to that.

I'm a one planer that has found stack and tilt to be a great swing for consistant iron play with nice shallow divots, BUT only with my irons. I do not use the tilt part much but love the "Stack " and it has made my iron swing feel much more connected. You have to tinker with it somewhat and being a range rat, I have tried many, many variations of this swing. I stay centered and only think about getting my left shoulder down towards the ball on the takeaway. This shoulder takeaway has taken the hands and arms out of the swing which was a problem for me being a former tournament tennis player.

I do not use S&T for any of my fairway woods or driver. I use Robert Baker's "O Factor" swing which is almost the complete opposite of the S&T swing!!! I know this sounds confusing having two swings, but it really works for me as I never got comfortable with S&T with the driver.
