Cool Driver problem

Have started hitting the ball of the bottom on the face of my driver any clues by which I can remedy this problem.

Re: Driver problem

Tee it up higher or move it up in your stance.

Re: Driver problem

hi
i think you need bigger tee's 3 inch to 3 1/2 inch, with the 460cc drivers you hit the ball with the top half of the face of the driver, i know when i used a 460cc and used the 2 1/2 inch silver castle tees i could not hit the driver well at all, when i changed to 4 inch tees i found that suddenly i could hit the ball well. i could not believe it was something so simple as the tees i was using. try bigger tees first it a cheep way to check if its that.
best of luck
bill

It can be caused by a number of different things.

You could be catching the ball further on the upswing then desired. This could be a result of having your ball position too far forward, you could be rising out of your posture, your left shoulder could be pulling upward, your left hip could be rising excessively. If you've setup with excessive knee flex or your hips low (in a sitting position) that could cause you to come out of your posture.

The easiest fix for most of those causes (except for pulling out of your posture) is moving your ball position back an inch or two.
