| Re: Rangefinder rule? Range finders are legal if they do not read slope or anything other than distance. This is all dependent on your local tourney rule. I think the USGA rule defers judgment to the local governing authority but the USGA allows them. |

| Re: Rangefinder rule? hi rule 14.3 says you are not allowed to use a device to measure distance in a stipulated round. what that means is elite tournaments and at club level local rules apply and you can use then at most club matched if there rules allow, so check your local club rules. cheers bill |
