keeping hips deep in downswing

Any one know of any drills to keep the hips deep in the downswing and not extending towards the ball

man that seems a very complicated move to get the hang of. I looked at that video one other time tried the move but cant get the hang of it.If i try and hold my right hip back at start of downswing i cant create any power i just slap at the ball with my hands and arms

You have to hold the right hip back but let the left rotate round. Like Hogan said, imagine a strong elastic strap connected to a wall behind you and your left hip, in the backswing it tensions then pulls the hip back in the downswing.
