Swing problem

Was wondering if any one had any advice for me on how to swing inside out. I seem to have a problem with the driver that i can't get the swing path inside out. It seems the harder i try i can't get the path to fall into place. Does any know of any trainer that will help groove this swing flaw. I have seen tons of trainers but don't know which one to buy. Everyone seems to have a fix but as most know only some of them work. If anyone else has had this problem and fixed it maybe you can give me some help

Re: Swing problem

Hi,

First. Why do you want to swing in to out, are you trying to hit a draw?

The simplest way to swing from in to out is to aim yourself closed or right of target and swing down that line, the path will be in to out with reference to the target. The ball will tend to push out right.

Re: Swing problem

Try an early wrist cock and keep your right (back) arm folded well...

Re: Swing problem

A hundred things may be keeping you from swinging in to out (and back in, goes without saying), so these are pure guesses.
First, are you making a full turn on the backswing? Back to the target, right hip turned back and to the inside, weight on the inside of the back foot, etc. If you don’t make a good turn back , the club will never be "inside" enough to start with.

Second, and probably more importantly, where is your right hip moving as you start down?. Chances are it’s moving out towards the ball, blocking off your "inside" path AND throwing your right shoulder out over the top. Now you are forced to make a looping move around that hip which puts you "outside". Only choice is to come "out" to in at the ball.

Someone posted about the right side working down and inside rather than spinning out. Do a search maybe. Even better look at some pro’s video and study exactly what they’re doing as they start down. Compare that to your move and I think you may see what your looking for. Good luck.
