Training Aid ASSIST by Matzie

I bought the Training Aid ASSIST by Matzie on ebay because it was really cheap and got some good reviews. However, it arrived today with no DVD or instructions, although I suppose you just swing it! Has anyone tried one of these? I don`t understand why it is shaped the way it is, nor can I see how it will help me with my swing. Any advice / thoughts would be welcome.
