| Hey ALL! This is some what of a two part question. First....My shots are going left. no matter what i try they do it all the time..I got a new set of clubs last year and had them custom made with a offset due to me slicing the ball all the time (the guy that made them said this would help) but now I don't slice but i pull the ball to the left. Is this the cause?? i've used my friends clubs at the driving range and I dont pull or slice ( YIPPY FINALLY). So the main question is..can i get the offset reset on my not even year old clubs or do i have to either A) figure out how to work with them or B) waste more money and buy a new set? ANY help would be appreciated. Thanks HEMPS |

| Re: Going straight left! Oh Boy, I do have company. There are a couple of things which I worked out myself. One is that this happens when I try to "kill" the ball. Then the tendency is to turn the chest sideways through your swing as opposed to a controlled rotation. This definitely takes it straight left. The other problem which I identified was when i start throwing the club - coming from outside-in. May be a good Pro can easily tell you what is wrong the moment he sees your swing. I usually have a problem with a couple of my early Tee shots before I realise what I am doing! |
